This is a field recording of an installation piece commissioned by SonicBernheim in 2019, and installed in two historic grain silos on the grounds of the Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest in Clermont, Kentucky. A prominent resonant frequency of each silo was discovered through experimentation, then variable oscillators producing periodic phase cancellations (beats) were introduced into each space. A variety of other tuned materials were created for each space and mixed in at various intervals. The piece is meant to cycle on for 30 minutes and then off for a 30-minute rest, with the two silos gradually shifting their temporal relationship to each other over the course of a day.

The field recording was made from a location equidistant from the entrance to each space.
